The result opens on steam rather than scent — steamed jasmine rice and a whisper of pandan, the exact moment a rice cooker lifts its lid. There is no citrus to brighten it, no floral to announce it; it simply arrives, the way the smell of dinner arrives in a home before you've noticed you're hungry. Orris and jasmine soften the starch into something closer to skin than kitchen, and the base — white musk, tonka bean, cedarwood — settles the whole composition into a low, powdery warmth that behaves less like a fragrance and more like a memory of being fed.

White Rice does not fill a room. It sits close, low-projection by design, because the smell it is chasing was never meant to travel — only to be there when you lean in.
